CJW

CJW

Creating the coziest hand-illustrated scarves & accessories with the finest, plush materials.

Hey! I'm Christina. I started CJW in 2014 because she was looking for luxurious, designer-label-quality pieces that had more personality that just a bunch of logos. When I couldn't find what I was looking for, I decided to combine my studio-art career with my family's generations of experience in the clothing manufacturing biz and do the thing myself.

We launched with a line of super-soft featherweight wool scarves printed with my hand-illustrated images celebrating the best of life (from the Hermès Birkin bag to chocolate chip cookies). Almost 10 years later, my hands still touch every part of CJW: I hand-draw all of our illustrations, select the fabrics I would want on my own skin, dream up thoughtful design details (like iPhone-sized pockets), and answer every email and DM. Getting to build meaningful connections with #friendsofcjw is one of my favorite parts of this job.

Classic & Curious Podcast

With Anne Kokoskie

Classic & Curious With Anne Kokoskie

A Podcast Supporting Thoughtful Conversations on Living a

Well-Edited Life

For Founder, Anne, style has always been a language, not a trend — a belief first sparked by Coco Chanel’s bouclé tweed jacket and the quiet elegance of Love Story, and deepened over 22 years leading North American Operations in the fashion industry.

After years shaping brand vision, storytelling, and customer experience at scale, she developed a sharp instinct for what endures. That experience informs a point of view grounded in discernment, clarity, and respect for craftsmanship and longevity — a perspective further enriched by her studies in art history and extensive travel, both of which continue to shape her understanding of beauty, proportion, and cultural legacy.

What began as a curiosity about how people live well — what they collect and how they host — evolved into Classic & Curious, an ongoing conversation with creatives and cultural thinkers who value substance and beauty.

Dress More with Less

Dress More With Less

We practice slow, handmade fashion. We promote craftsmanship and heritage around the world, embracing ancestral production techniques.

The ideal closet has always been my dream.

Over time I have come to realize that to achieve this, one does not need to have overflowing drawers and invest fortunes in designer clothes.
It is enough to free the imagination, to seek uniqueness, to chase diversity.
Scouting out unique pieces, garments that represent us and tell the story of the people who made them, sustainably and for a fair consideration.

Like the garments Dress More with Less contemporary cuts and a multi-ethnic mix of fabrics, trimmings and embroideries by skilled artisans from faraway lands that I scout as I travel from country to country.

A play of contrasts, strories and fabrics from the world.

Haute Energy

Haute Energy

My love for jewelry, fashion, crafting, nature and the arts have all been my constants.

Throughout my childhood and teen years I adored jewelry, ranging from crafting summer woven friendship bracelets, beading safety pins for my Tretorns, and saving my allowance for dangle earrings from Mooshka (anyone who frequented Suburban Square in Ardmore, PA in the late eighties understands this obsession!).

I began creating my own jewelry about twenty five years ago. I have always had an open mind to the crystalline world and fully came out of the "crystal closet" when I launched Haute Energy in 2019. The name Haute Energy was coined during a plane ride home from Paris when I was doodling the perfect name that would describe the union of style and crystal energy. Since then, I have committed myself to complimenting my creative vision by furthering my knowledge of our energetic world. Specifically, I have completed Reiki Level 1 Certification, gifted my autoimmune challenges with healing through the Allergy Release Technique and, most recently completed The Crystal Academy of Advance Healing Arts Beginning Crystal Healing Certification Course.

MDVII

MDVII

The Premiere Source for Haute Couture Costume Jewelry

For Susie Hoimes, collecting has never been about ownership. It has always been about discovery.

Born in Kenya to British parents, Susie's earliest memories were shaped by a world rich in color, craftsmanship, and cultural tradition. As a child she gathered flowers to make patterns from their petals and learned to weave simple bracelets from beads and grasses alongside her Kikuyu caretaker. Her father, a physician specializing in tropical medicine, filled the family home with rare books and intellectual curiosity, while her mother, a former dancer, introduced her to the transformative power of costume, adornment, and beauty.

Life would carry her across continents, from Kenya to England and later to Iran and beyond, cultivating a deep appreciation for the artistry that defines cultures around the world. Those years gave her an instinctive eye for craftsmanship, authenticity, and the stories embedded within beautiful objects.

In 1990 she founded MDVII, named for the Roman numerals of her original San Francisco boutique's address. What began as a personal passion became one of the country's premier destinations for haute couture costume jewelry, where collectors, designers, and private clients have long sought her expertise in exceptional pieces by Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Lanvin, Schiaparelli, and other legendary houses.

Michele Flaster Fine Art

Michele Flaster

Make it Come Alive

Michele is a new artist who began painting in earnest during COVID.

Born in Upstate New York, she was greatly influenced by the rolling foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. Beauty was all around in the colorful landscape. In her mid-years, she became an interior designer which further strengthened her sense of color, texture and use of space.

For Michele, the art comes alive on the canvas through her painterly brushstrokes, color and texture. Movement is essential.

Does the water ripple and flow
Does the wind blow
Are the eyes alight
