Internships & Fellowships


The Maria Mitchell Association offers a variety of internships at our Aquarium, Natural Science Museum, Observatories, Mitchell House, and in our Summer Discovery Education Programs.

Qualified undergraduate and graduate students studying marine biology, the natural sciences, astronomy, education, history/art history/historic preservation, non-profit development, and communications and marketing are invited to apply.

We additionally offer a year-long Post-Baccalaureate Research Fellowship position at the Maria Mitchell Observatory.
