Marine and Terrestrial Ecology Register

During this program, students will explore the diverse marine and terrestrial ecosystems all around Nantucket Island. Participants will study topics such as fish and invertebrate anatomy, physical oceanography, marine and terrestrial ecology, as well as animal classification and behaviors. They will participate in activities including snorkeling, seining, hiking, kayaking, beach combing, animal tracking, and more. They will build knowledge and skills needed to volunteer in our aquarium and museum. Additional opportunities may include fish and invertebrate dissections, fish printing, plankton collections, shellfishing, and more!
