Marine and Terrestrial Ecology Register
During this program, students will explore the diverse marine and terrestrial ecosystems all around Nantucket Island. Participants will study topics such as fish and invertebrate anatomy, physical oceanography, marine and terrestrial ecology, as well as animal classification and behaviors. They will participate in activities including snorkeling, seining, hiking, kayaking/paddle boarding, beach combing, animal tracking, and volunteering in our aquarium. Additional opportunities may include fish and invertebrate dissections (including sharks), fish printing, plankton collections, shellfishing, and more!
