Discovery Camp Programs (Ages 3.5-12)

With the understanding that students learn best through experience, the Discovery Camp Program is dedicated to developing students’ knowledge and interest in the outdoor world, connecting students to Nantucket’s local environment, and inspiring youth to discover ways that they can work to protect our natural world.  Children have the opportunity to participate in activities such as beach exploration, snorkeling, seining, canoeing, sailing, discovery hikes, wetland studies, survival skill instruction, live animal programs, orienteering, kayaking, games, art projects, insect collecting, etc.

MMA conforms to the rules and regulations for Massachusetts’ camps and we are licensed by the local board of health.
